Dr Gabriel Hundeshagen, Assistant Professor in plastic and hand surgery and the head of burn surgery BG Trauma Center Ludwigshafen
Gabriel Hundeshagen is a board-certified plastic, aesthetic and hand surgeon, managing senior physician and head of burn surgery at BG Trauma Center Ludwigshafen, and assistant professor at the University of Heidelberg. He previously completed a research fellowship under David Herndon at Shriners Hospital for Children and UTMB in Galveston, TX. Having authored over 140 original peer-reviewed publications, his clinical and experimental research focuses on big data applications in plastic surgery, innovative surgical techniques for acute burn care, and the organ-specific and systemic long-term effects of severe burns.
