Dear colleagues,

As in previous years, the European Burns Association (EBA) will be holding its bi-annual meeting in September. This year will be the 21st edition. The interest for this meeting has grown over the previous years. More than 700 participants are gathering at our bi-annual meetings.
The EBA congress is aimed at all members of the multidisciplinary allied burn team: (plastic) surgeons, intensivists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other allied burn health care professionals and those in training, from all over Europe and beyond.

We are pleased to announce that the 21st Annual Meeting of the EBA will be held at Estrel Congress Center (ECC) in Berling, Germany, from Wednesday, September 3, until Saturday, September 6, 2025. This year’s organisation has been entrusted to the local meeting organisers Frank Siemers and Bernd Hartmann.

The scientific program will focus on new insights in burn treatments and research. There will also be room for oral and poster presentations on different topics. The poster walk will take place during the coffee breaks and lunches.

While in your free time, you can explore the vibrant city of Berlin, rich with history and a modern creative pulse. From the iconic Brandenburg Gate to the historic streets of Mitte, Berlin offers endless opportunities for exploration. Discover the charming neighborhoods, indulge in shopping at unique boutiques, or relax in one of the many cozy cafes and beer gardens that Berlin is known for.
